Important changes to the dedication phase.

As mentioned previously, we will have a dedication phase for the freedom of commerce-the freedom to freely transact, gamble, and share value uninhibited by government.

Due to a lot of requests, we came up with an important change to the dedication phase mechanics: There will be a volume bonus in place to reward large dedications! It will be a linear bonus with a maximum of 100% bonus shares. Meaning that the largest dedicator can increase their shares in the sacrifice pool by up to 2x.

The other dedication phase metrics stay the same. It’ll still be one week long and might or might not be rewarded with a total of 77M FP tokens (Do not have any expectations of profit from the work of others).

The following is a brief numerical example:
Let’s assume a dedication total of $4M and two dedicators. The first one dedicates $3M, the second one dedicates $1M.
The first dedicator occupies the volume bonus from 2x to 1,25x. The average of 2x and 1,25x is 1,625x. This means that the first dedicator receives a bonus of 1,625x.
The second dedicator occupies the volume bonus from 1,25x to 1x. The average of 1,25x and 1x is 1,125x. This means that the second dedicator receives a bonus of 1,125x.
In order to calculate the total amount of shares in the dedication pool, we have to multiply $3M by 1.625x (4,875,000 shares) and $1M by 1.125x (1,125,000 shares). This adds up to 6,000,000 total shares.
Now we know about the total shares in the pool. They might or might not be used to airdrop the fair share of 77M FP to the two dedicators. However, they can not expect any profits from the work of others.
Lets hypothetically assume that these two dedicators receive said airdrop. Dedicator 1 would end up with 62,562,500 $FP while dedicator 2 would end up with 14,437,500 $FP.

I would like to mention that the past has shown that it can be worthwhile to start one or join an existing pool. Pools have always achieved very good results in past sacrifice phases. Not financial advice.

Disclaimer: You can never expect any profit from the work of others. Nothing is guaranteed.
